Grosset ‘Gaia’ Cabernet
RM360.00
The 2016 Grosset Gaia has voluminous perfumes of blackcurrant, bramble and briar that are bold and enticing. It is powerful, dense and full-bodied, tightly wound around its firm core, yet softened by its velvety texture. It has a richness and concentration of flavour, balanced by substantial yet ultra-fine tannins. While more seductive and appealing on release than many vintages of Gaia, the 2016 shows every indication of being as age worthy as wine loves have come to expect.

About The Brand
Grosset Wines is an independently owned winery producing eight highly regarded premium wines each vintage. Established in 1981, the winery is situated in the historic township of Auburn in South Australia’s Clare Valley.  Jeffrey Grosset is one of Australia’s most significant winemakers. There are four estate-owned vineyards; each is located in higher altitude country just north of the winery; each is certified organic and all fruit is hand-picked and processed through the organically certified winery at Auburn.
The fame of Clare Valley Riesling is hinged on his vision splendid. As one of the leading proponents of screw cap closures, his wines have hugely benefited from this technology. Alongside his flagship Rieslings, Grosset also produces several other compelling wines including Semillon, Chardonnay and a Cabernet blend named Gaia.
