Mitolo 'G.A.M.' McLaren Vale Shiraz

RM290.00

The G.A.M. Shiraz comes from the Chinese Block vineyard which is located in the Willunga district at the southern end of McLaren Vale. Aged for 18 months, this is a powerful and extremely focused wine with great depth of fruit character that is well framed by fine grain tannin, and drawn together to a long finish by naturally balanced acidity. G.A.M. represents the first initial of each of the Mitolo children’s first names – Gemma, Alex and Marco. Rich and concentrated, deliciously fleshy and full bodied with plush yet granular texture. The fruits of the nose carry through on the palate and complex savoury notes develop in the glass, adding layers to the wine. Firm yet supportive tannins marry perfectly, giving ample structure and length, delivering a smooth, dry-textured finish. Ned Goodwin MW: 94Pts; James Suckling: 94Pts; Wine Advocate: 93Pts; The Real Review: 93Pts; Vinous: 92Pts; Andrew Caillard MW: 92Pts; Winepilot: 92Pts
