To make good vinegar you need good wine which is why Torres make exceptional vinegar. This very special vinegar is made from Cabernet Sauvignon red wines, aged in in oak barrels for 12 months at Torres own vinegar ‘soleras‘. The red wines selected from their own vineyards are intense and fruity with good tannin content and the resulting vinegar has an intense ‘toasty’ aroma. It is ideal for salads, marinades with chicken, pork, lamb and beef and for deglazing the pan to make a sauce. Note: This vinegar is bottled unfiltered and unfined, to keep its natural element, so the presence of sediment is very likely.

The Torres surname has been linked to wine for more than three centuries, when the family first planted vines in the Penedes. Since it was founded in 1870, Bodegas Torres has combined tradition and innovation with the aim of leading the premium quality wine and brandy sector. In doing so, the company has always carried out its work with the utmost respect for the environment, lead by the 5th generation of the family.

Right from the beginning, exports have been one of the main pillars of the company, and nowadays Torres wines can be found in more than 150 countries. Thanks to countless effort to have Spanish world recognized, Familia Torres has been named Europe’s most admired brand for nine years by beverage magazine Drinks International and Miguel A. Torres is one of the few Spanish producers to have been named Decanter Man of the Year.

The Torres family's philosophy of winegrowing begins with respect for the land. "We live from the earth and we are a family-owned company, so this combination leads us to care for our land and resources — not just for this generation, but also for future generations", says Miguel A. Torres. Torres completely avoids the use of chemical treatments, replacing them with biological alternatives, following the viticulture traditions of Torres' ancestors.
