Vardon Kennett ‘Cuvee Esplendor’ – Penedes
Cuvee Esplendor by Vardon Kennett, a limited-production vintage sparkling wine, is made according to the traditional method from grapes grown in our Alt Penedes vineyards at 550 meters. Meticulously crafted, without adding liqueurs or wines from other years, Esplendor preserves the unique character of each vintage. The Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Xarel’lo grapes that make up the 2013 vintage – the very first – were selected with utmost care.
The nose reveals predominant yet delicate aromas of fresh fruit and citrus. Complex, with aging aromas of brioche and toast bread and a touch of terroir-imparted minerality. Fresh, luscious, elegant and persistent on the palate. Lends full expression to the grape, the soil and the high-elevation climate.

Vardon Kennett originates from the winery’s own high-altitude Penedes vineyards at over 500 meters above sea level, the source of its exceptional freshness and elegance. The blend features Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and a small percentage of Xarel·lo, crafted from carefully selected, hand-harvested grapes. After 30 months of bottle aging, this new signature sparkling wine makes its market debut with a small production aimed specifically at restaurants and specialized stores.
